Acceptance

By adding Echo to a Discord server, or by using its commands, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, remove the bot or stop using it.

You must also comply with the Discord Terms of Service and Community Guidelines at all times. Nothing here overrides them.

What the service does

Echo provides moderation, automatic moderation, a message-based leveling system, a virtual economy, welcome messages, auto-roles, automatic replies, and server event logging. Features are configured per server by users holding the Manage Server permission.

The virtual currency and items have no monetary value, cannot be purchased, and cannot be exchanged for anything outside the bot.

Acceptable use

You may not use the bot to harass, abuse, or harm others; to evade Discord bans or moderation; to spam; to attempt to disrupt or overload the service; or for any unlawful purpose.

Server administrators are responsible for how they configure the bot, including the content of welcome messages, auto-responses, and banned-word lists.

Availability

The service is provided as-is and as-available, with no guarantee of uptime, data durability, or fitness for any particular purpose. Features may change or be removed at any time.

Access may be suspended or removed from any server or user at the operator's discretion, in particular where these terms are being broken.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of the bot, including lost data, lost virtual currency, or moderation actions taken by the bot at a server's configuration.

Changes

These terms may be updated. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. The date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
